Newspaper: Medvedev cancels visit to Ukraine because of a dispute over gas

Russia's Kommersant newspaper reported Monday that President Dmitry Medvedev called off a planned visit in July 31 for Ukraine, because Kiev refused to agreement on the integration of her company for gas, "Naftogaz" with the group Russian gas giant "Gazprom".
The newspaper, quoting sources in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and the Kremlin said Medvedev, speaking on condition of making the visit an agreement provides for the merger of the two companies.
The official said a Ukrainian diplomat, "what we've seen it (the agreement) is not useful (to us) they told us, + if there will be no visit" to Medvedev.
