Bahrain stresses to maintain the peg to the dollar

The Governor of Central Bank of Bahrain said that his country would keep its dollar peg despite Kabbam Standard & Poor's cut the credit rating of the United States, as reported by Reuters. He informed the Governor Rasheed Al Maraj, Bahrain today that "exchange rate policy followed suit our economic situation." The Central Bank is working to secure a stable fiscal policy conducive to economic growth in Bahrain and to assist the commercial sector the risk of volatility in the exchange of the dollar. "
